JUNE 10th - PLACEMAKING APPLICATION

This application is for individuals, student groups, organizations or small businesses (under $1 million in annual revenue), or any business/org that is directly along the route to use the street as a space for creative placemaking and demonstration projects along the April 8th Atlanta Streets Alive Westside route. There is no fee to participate, however, there is a cancellation fee.
Atlanta Streets Alive is based on four pillars; transport options, health, civic pride and living streets. We're looking for ideas that address one or more of these pillars through the temporary enhancement and transformation the public space along the route. These street-based interventions are a form of tactical urbanism and part of a broader process of placemaking in Atlanta. For a few examples of placemaking and tactical urbanism, click here.
Remember - the more active and engaging your activity, the more people you will attract!
Applications are reviewed according to the type of activity, type of organization/business, and existing space along the route. Submitting this application does NOT guarantee your participation in the event. Placement along the route will be solely determined by event organizers unless the activity is part of an existing business or organization physically located on the route. Please note: NO vending is permitted on the route.

Once we review your application, if approved you will receive an Activity Partner Agreement form to sign and return.
