Atlanta Streets Alive - Central

The streets of Atlanta will spring to life on Sunday, September 30th as a 3.1-mile stretch of street from Downtown to Midtown is opened to people on foot and bike, and closed to motorized traffic (except for intersections where cars will be free to cross.)

Organized by the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition, this is our last Atlanta Streets Alive (ASA) of the year, so don't miss out! Celebrating Atlanta’s signature Peachtree Street, from Downtown, the heart of the city, to Midtown, which was selected as one of the top five neighborhoods in the country by the American Planning Association.
Grab your friends and family and get ready to activate the streets with human-powered amusement!

You can also RSVP on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/events/2271439176500849/
Question: What exactly do we do?
Answer: We close the streets to cars and open them to people!

Question: What should you do?
Answer: Bring your bicycle or your feet, and get ready to explore your community streets in a safer, healthier, more livable way.

Stay tuned for information about the Bicycle Parade which will start at 1:30pm at Mitchell and Peachtree St.
